Container specification
Storage containers are available in a range of sizes from 10 to 40ft long in various designs (width 8ft, height 8ft 6in). Storage containers are versatile storage solutions for temporary or permanent storage. We also provide containers which have been converted into site offices, garden offices, garden sheds, canteen units, chemical stores, workshops – all of which can be partitioned 2 room or 6 room units.
Delivery Containers are stackable and are delivered directly on specially equipped trucks which require approx two and a half times the size of the container for unloading. (For inaccessible areas, consider our foldable flatpack options.)
Colours If you’re hiring your container will be Dark Blue (RAL 5013) or Dark Green (RAL 6005). If you’re buying your container outright, then for a small additional charge, BCT can supply your container in any colour you request from the RAL/BS Paint Code chart.
Site preparation Containers need to be sited on level ground, and it is advisable to have the necessary materials available for leveling the container if necessary: railway sleepers or concrete blocks under the corners are ideal.
