Bespoke Container Conversions

Custom modified shipping containers can be used for a whole range of uses. The first question you have to ask is what would you use the pop up container for? As we have previously reported, 2012 saw an increase in the use of shipping containers as pop up shops and retail units. Underlying this trend and at the heart of the business is the ability to carry out container conversions. Which Size?

Containers come in a whole range of different sizes, however, the two most common sizes are 20ft and 40ft containers. A 20ft shipping container would be ideal for a smaller pop-up unit, such as a retail unit or shop. A 40ft container, double the size, could be used for a larger pop-up venue, including a bar, cafe or combined shop and food outlet.
