We are able to supply any number of 10ft, 20ft and 40ft shipping containers, including specialist and customised units.
For example, we can offer new, side opening 20ft and 40ft containers. Such units allow for full side access and have split section opening doors (4 individual doors) along the 20ft side or a larger number for 40ft units.
These containers can either be bought new (as the images on this page show) or can be custom fabricated by our conversions team from used or new standard 20ft shipping containers.
A few of the benefits of full side access 20ft containers are noted below:
- they allow access along the 20ft x 8ft6in side and the original 8ft x 8ft6in end (i.e. through the original double doors) – ideal for when access is tight and at a premium!
- they allow you to open a number of doors in a number of configurations, you can retain the original doors open (or closed) and fully or even partially open the side doors (as the photos show)
- all container doors including those fitted along the 20ft are secure, fitted with their own lock-boxes for you to attach our container padlocks and are also fitted with the traditional locking rod security rings
- these units make great containers for container conversions, as they allow access through multiple points within the container’s frame.
