We were recently mandated by a leading educational institute, to design and supply a bespoke 30ft x 16ft storage container complex. From the initial site vist and assessment, our in-house team developed the containerised structure and with our own container conversion team, we fabricated the specialist storage unit from two new, 40ft steel ISO storage containers.

Internally the units were fully insulated (walls & ceiling) and lined internally in ply, together with a bespoke external paint colour. In addition, our client require the use of an 'easy-access' steel, security door which was retro-fitted into one of the original container doors so as to retain access through large linked container doors and also through a smaller personnel door, for when easy access was required.

Once the units were ready, we arranged delivery with Hi-AB crane assisted transport, who delivered the units expertly into place together with our engineers who linked, joined and sealed the units on-site. The site was responsible to ensure level ground conditions and also to provide an additional roof structure with a drainage system or equivalent, to ensure the units were completely weather-proof.

The linked container structure, will serve as a temporary storage facility and, if required, can be dismantled and re-positioned in the future.
