Steel lock-boxes

For peace of mind, steel lock-boxes are almost always fitted to all our storage containers, as standard. In fact, all our hire fleet containers have either standard or slim-line steel lock boxes fitted and can be supplied, with container padlocks, if required.

For used shipping containers, which are not yet fitted with lock-boxes (as standard) we are able to retro-fit these steel lock-boxes onto our containers, to upgrade and enhance the security profile of the container.

Further information:

• Lock boxes are steel plates and profiles which have been welded to the container doors, thereby ‘shrouding’ the padlock
• Added security feature to deter forced entry, padlock less prone to direct attack and vandalism
• Can be supplied together with a container padlock for the total security package
