Bell Container has been serving the UK storage container markets since 1983.  Storage containers are an affordable temporary or long term storage solution for your site. We strive to ensure that our container hire fleet is maintained to the highest standards thereby providing our customers with a reliable, secure and versatile means of container storage.

Shipping containers can be used for a wide variety of different storage, from household items on your driveway or garden (subject to suitable access) to secure tool or plant storage on large construction sites. Whatever container storage you require; whether it be long term, short term, large or small, we at Bell, are able to help.

The height of standard storage container is approximately 8ft 6 inches.

Typically our storage containers for hire have a marine ply wood floor over solid steel cross-member and secure double doors for easy access with locking bars and a lock box for added security.

Our container hire fleet also consists of more specialised units such as; anti-condensation containers, insulated containers and racked containers. If you have any special requirements, feel free to call us to discuss them or use our online quick quote.

 Security

All our storage containers are fitted with a steel lock box. This provides the highest security measure and shields the padlock. The lock box prevents vandals from cutting or tampering with the padlock, which is placed underneath the lock box. We also sell heavy duty padlocks which can be delivered with your storage container. Colours

Our standard container hire fleet colours are dark green (RAL 6007) or dark blue (RAL 5013). Delivery
Containers are stackable and are delivered directly on specially equipped trucks which require approx two and a half times the size of the container for unloading. Visit our dedicated DELIVERY page for further information on the delivery of your container. For inaccessible areas, consider our Foldable Flat Pack options. 

Site preparation
Containers need to be sited on level ground, and it is advisable to have the necessary materials available for leveling the container if necessary: railway sleepers or concrete blocks under the corners are ideal. We are able to provide these should they be required for your on-site storage containers.

Configuration
We are able to double stack containers, so that it is placed above or below another container.  We can also provide and fit the necessary stairs and landing for upper access of the stacked units.
