40′ x 8′ Shipping Container Conversion (London)
We were mandated to convert 1 x 40′ x 8′ DV shipping container into a bespoke shower unit, complete with WC (toilet facilities) and a partitioned canteen/welfare area for site personnel. All works were undertaken at Bell Container’s container modifications’ workshop and container was hi-ab delivered on-time via articulated hi-ab transport.

Internal specification was chosen by the client, where we offered them a range of options, including choice of lino (vinyl) flooring, shower and toilet positions, as well as, positions of the internal partitions (including access doors) and external sliding glass windows with steel anti-vandal shutters. The converted shipping container was required to retain its anti-vandal nature and so, we fitted our secure steel personnel doors (towards the ends of the container) and also a number of secure window units.
Internally unit was converted and modified to a high specification, finished in white boarding as well as a large sink unit (c/w adjoining worktop) for customer to place white goods and small appliances. Electrics supplied, included ceiling lights and plug sockets.
