In 2023, Bell Container celebrated its 40th year of serving the container hire and sales industry. To mark this occasion, we wanted to share an insight into they key features available within our range of hire fleet containers and how they can benefit you, when looking for on-site storage solutions.
Over the last 40 years, we have grown our rental fleet of containers substantially, where today, our fleet primarily consists of new, single-trip 20ft steel storage containers, which offer our clients access to the best containers available for storage. These steel boxes provide a quick, safe, reliable and, of course, convenient space to store whatever it is you need. From excess stock, to moving items, out from an existing warehouse or, in fact, when moving premises, storage containers are the ideal solution. We can turnaround units, within a few days and always have access to containers, for quick delivery directly to your premises.
Steel Storage Containers - Key Features:
- secure - original container doors, with integral locking mechanisms and steel-shroud/welded lock-boxes, for heavy duty padlock fitment
- ventilated - factory fitted air vents, as standard across all units
- durable - original marine ply flooring across the range of hire fleet containers, including steel walls and ceiling
- presentable - all our hire fleet containers are finished externally in either factory or hire fleet colours, generally blue or green

In terms of the size available, we offer 6ft, 8ft, 10ft, 20ft and 40ft storage containers for hire, however, the 20ft units are, by far, the most cost effective and space-efficient units available, generally offering around 33 cubic metres of space, in a secure, clean storage environment. - once we have your details, we will provide you with a quote over the phone or by email
- we will send you, by email, a confirmation to go-ahead and an initial pro-forma invoice
- once we receive your initial payment, we can proceed to book delivery
In terms of site preparation, you would need to ensure your site is suitable to accept a hi-ab (i.e. crane) type delivery vehicle with level and hard-standing ground conditions.
We also offer a range of accessories to supplement your container hire, from padlocks, moisture absorbent poles to sleeper blocks, to aid with the levelling of your container on-site; these can be added onto any order for a hired container.
